Southern Carinthia has a mixture of diverse climbing opportunities. Here you can let off steam on the fixed rope routes on the Schlossberg in Griffen or in Bad Eisenkappel. The region also offers further high-altitude experiences with bouldering in Bleiburg or on the climbing tower in St. Michael.
On the Petzen, the via ferrata (Walter-Mory via ferrata), at the Lärchenturm or in Bad Eisenkappel on the Türkenkopf are definitely a must. And if you still haven’t had enough, there are plenty of other great climbing opportunities a little further on in the Rosental valley on the Koschuta and Hochstuhl, as well as in the Lavantal valley.
